Reflection.

This has been an amazing experience all around. Five days left. I am excited to go home. However there is a part of me that will always want to come back here. I would love ot come back with my family, and close friends.

The has been no limit to the access of knowledge that has been obtained here. Every single student has learned a lot about themselves, has been introduced to a larger spectrum of life, and has learned many lessons that they never would have had an oppertunity to learn back in America.

I have had a great time here, making friends with people I have only seen around campus, or who I have never known before. These friendships will be life long. Being able to travel as a class and on our own with our fellow classmates who are now friends, has been one of the best parts. In traveling with the other students and teachers we have been able to learn more about each other which reflects and adds to our knowledge about the world.

This opportunity has allowed me to do freelance on an educational/ real life level, it has allowed me to travel to places I hope to see again, I have been able to engage in classes I never would have taken.

I will always be hopeful of returning to Innsbruck and Wien with the ones I love and who are a part of my life back home. To return and share the knowledge I have gained, and also learn from the experience we may share returning here.
I hope every student is able to take a piece of this far away land and share it with the ones they love most.

Salzburg, Insbruck, Munchen

This is a rebel Blog... I guess...

I Followed the class curriculum as best as I could.... Until I ran into Adventure Recreation in Innsbruck. This was my second time to Innsbruck. I ended up skipping class which was a walking tour of Innsbruck to ride the insainly beautiful and massive Alphine Mountains there. I rode all day long with Doug Carty Kristen Bean, Thomas Merkt, Jarad, and many more.

I sustained an injury, how ever it was worth it.
The injury was a fluke... or else some one was mad at me.... and thought about pushing....

Well It's all better now.

Recapping on the rest...

Salzburg was very nice. The sound of music tour was somewhat interesting, nice for the scenery. Our tour guide was great and funny, and ended up swearing all in fun and games.

The Salt mine tour was very cool. It was nice to be exploring caves that have been carved out by the Kelts hundreds or even thousands of years ago.

In Munchen, the HaufBrau House was very interesting, good beer, good times. Got lost after. How ever the modern art museums class trip was my favorete part. Seeing many old artists and being able to stand before a work from my favorete artist. Salvador Dali.

Then it was time to leave.

Interesting Figures...

The most interesting Figure I have met was within my first 2 weeks here, right around the corner at a music bar. He told me much about his life, his migrations, and he worked in many different places. Karlsben has lived in Switzerland, many places in Wien. He shared much knowledge about the life style, landscape, and Wien in general.

Hmmm... From beyond Wien.

While I was on spring Break, the only person worth mentioning is a women who offered Jon and I her kindness.

I can not for the life of me remember her first name. Jon and I called her St. Napolli.

This women was sitting on the train with us since Millano. She watched us give up our seats for 2 older Italian Women... and saw the consequence of us doing this.... She noticed us standing for 7 hours.

After standing for 7 hours from Millano to Napolli she saved Jon and seats in the car that we started on. She gave us much advice about the rough city of Napolli. She was very concerned with us saying we had no place booked, accept for a campground that we had intentions to find In Sorrento.

She brought us to the subway station and got us a train to Sorrento.

We learned about her life growing up in Italy... and she knows how rough of a city of Napolli is because it used to be her home town.

Its very populated, and the people there love to take advantage of tourists. We learned that pick pocketing and mugging are a high risk there.

She told us about Sorrentop also. We would have talked about many other things, however, my Italian is not up to par, and Jon only knows Grazi and Prego.

St. Napolli's english was good, however there was still a language barrier.

This is the picture of Jon and I after we gave up our seats for the two Italian Women.
